Out of State Licensees

This is general information for persons holding licenses in other states. Do NOT accept it as gospel. The Professional Institute of Real Estate will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies on this page. The Arizona Department of Real Estate will make the final determination of how much education you need. But this should help.

If you hold a license in another state, Arizona will not recognize the coursework that you took. You still need to take the entire 90 hours in order to be licensed in Arizona. Call (602)-771-7720  to get the information you need.

Prometric (800-790-3926) gives the State test in Arizona. If you took the Prometric test elsewhere, you need only take the Arizona Law section of the test. Otherwise, you must take the entire test. Stop thinking about it and get out here. It’s a great place to live.
